Today we explore what is real. How our perception projects thoughts that are not real and this precipitates an experience of not living in reality. We explore how to come back to the present moment through our meditation using the senses to experience NOW.
Today your practice is a sitting meditation to connect with what is happening through your senses. You can do a 20 minute or 45 minute practice.
Byron Katie 4 Questions - The Work
Ask yourself the following questions of your thoughts (particularly unhelpful or troubling ones)
1. Is it true?
2. Can I be absolutely certain that it is true?
3. What am I believing about myself when I believe that thought? (see what emerges)
4. Who am I without that thought?
5. Turn it around - what would a more positive, empowering helpful thought be?
