Why choose individual mindfulness sessions?

If you are new to mindfulness and want to learn the skills of training the mind to be in the present moment and would prefer not to be in a group setting this is for you! I will teach you the essence of what mindfulness is and how you can integrate it into your day. This has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety and help lead to greater wellbeing, happiness and inner peace.

In-person classes are €12 or €60 for 6 sessions. 

Throughout the sessions, you will be consciously and systematically working with your own challenges, stress or pain - the challenges and demands of your everyday life. You will develop an awareness of automatic pilot, habitual patterns, and awareness of thoughts, emotions and physical sensations. This awareness provides the opportunity to engage with life in a different way and is the foundation upon which new perspectives are built. As the emphasis is on bringing mindfulness into everyday life, home practice and journaling are also important aspects of the course.

A safe and supportive environment will be created for this work and learning through:

  • Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices.
  • Gentle stretching and mindful yoga.
  • Group dialogue and discussions aimed at enhancing awareness in everyday life.
  • Individually tailored instruction.
  • Daily home practice.
  • Personal reflection through journaling.
